Hideo Kojima seems to be teasing something on Twitter and fans of the Japanese creator seem to think that it's a brand new game. Kojima Productions tweeted recently that they won't be revealing any new games at the Tokyo Games Show 2022.
So, what's the fuss about? Well, an image showing a silhouette of a mysterious woman has been shared by Kojima's buddy and The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley. "Who Am I?" is written on the poster in bold lettering.
The image is also found on Hideo Kojima's official website. It didn't take long for Twitter users to find the perfect match for the woman in the image in Maleficient star Elle Fanning.
So, does this mean that Kojima's next project is set to star Fanning? Who knows, it's certainly possible and it would not be the first time that Hideo is teaming up with Hollywood stars.
Interestingly, Kojima also revealed that he recently had a video call with Keighley and Hollywood director Jordan Peele, who just released his comedy horror film Nope. Peele also directed critically acclaimed horror films like Get Out and US.
Whatever this new project from Kojima is, we hope to find out soon. With Keighley involved, we're almost certain that the team is cooking something special for The Game Awards 2022, which will be aired in December 2022.
