EA have been surprisingly quiet regarding FIFA 21 on the next-generation console PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The publisher are yet to reveal a single, proper gameplay trailer that would give us a glimpse at the visual and other improvements they have made for FIFA 21 on new hardware.
The only bit of info we got about the next-gen FIFA is the release date and support for Smart Delivery and free upgrade program on Xbox and PlayStation platforms, respectively. Oh, and we know that PC players won't get the next-gen version this year.
Luckily, today, EA have finally decided to share first, proper screenshots of player models from the next-gen FIFA. You can take a closer look at Liverpool's young right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Atletico Madrid's star Joao Felix below:
We have to say that the models look pretty impressive and if this is indeed the final result then FIFA 21 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will be a massive improvement over the current-gen version on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
However, while these visuals do look gorgeous, we would still love to see the game in action, perhaps a full match gameplay between Atletico Madrid and Liverpool would be a good way to showcase the next-gen FIFA 21.
FIFA 21 is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 4, 2020.
