Valve's Half-Life: Alyx is just around the corner. The brand new Half-Life story in VR is launching this week and players have been wondering when exactly they will be able to start pre-loading the game on Steam.
Luckily, you will have plenty of time to get everything up and running before the game officially unlocks. Valve confirmed that Half-Life: Alyx pre-load will start on Friday, 20 March 2020.
This means that you will have three days to download the game and play it as soon as it goes live. Those with slow internet connections will certainly appreciate Valve's decision to offer three days for preloading.
On top of this, Valve also confirmed when exactly Half-Life: Alyx will launch. You will be able to play it on 23 March 2020, 10 AM PT / 6 PM CET.
For those who are unfamiliar with Half-Life: Alyx, the game is exclusive to PC and Steam. It supports all major VR headsets such us Valve Index, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality devices.
The game's story is set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2 and it follows Alyx Vance, described as humanity's only chance for survival in a battle against a vicious alien race the Combine.
