Harvestella is set to release on November 4, 2022, and it brings seasonal changes, crop growing but also dungeons, combat and more.
During today's Nintendo Direct Mini partner showcase, Square Enix have revealed their brand new title named Harvestella.
Harvestella is a life simulation RPG where players can grow and tend crops, use different ingredients to cook and craft items, go fishing, befriend townspeople, explore the world and take on challenging dungeons.
The game also have classes which are named Jobs. You can choose to play as Fighter, Shadow Walker, and Mage and venture into the dungeons with your party.
Harvestella's world is quite colourful and vibrant with seasonal changes so players can expect Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter seasons to drastically change the look of the world.
As for the lore and the story, the game kicks off when abnormalities start to appear in four crystals named Seaslight, which are controlling the world's seasonal changes in a stable manner.
The abnormalities start to create Quietus, a season of death which takes place between the naturally occurring four seasons, destroying crops and keeping the people inside their homes.
Harvestella is available for pre-order now on Steam while the pre-orders for Switch will be available at a later date. The Switch version will also have a physical edition. The release date for Harvestella is set for November 4, 2022.
