CreativeForge Games released a new gameplay trailer for Hard West 2 and while not officially confirmed, there are rumours the release date is just a couple of months away.

Hard West flew under many radars and while it's not the most complex turn-based RPG ever made, its setting and narrative offer a rather unique atmosphere that is a selling point on its own. It's for this reason that the game found a faithful fanbase even without having to spend obscene amounts of money on advertising.

Now, Hard West 2 appears to be close to release as there are reports it's scheduled for May 12, 2022 . This date has not been officially confirmed but it does look feasible.

Anyway, the new trailer introduces us to a story bit along with the crew we will be controlling. It consists of a gunslinger named Gin Carter, stealthy and mobile character named Flynn and a Native American called Laughing Deer. The fourth member of the posse is called Old Man Bill and bears a conspicuous resemblance to Wild Bill Hickok.

While the Steam page has no release date yet, it does have the system requirements, which are pretty modest for the day and age. Even older machines meet the recommended settings, despite not having hardware that was top of the line back in the day.

For example, GTX 1050 Ti is a small GPU that could but was never considered to be an expensive commodity like the modern ones are.
