Halo Infinite and Age of Empires 4 are two hotly anticipated titles and it appears they may get cooled down by the frisk weather of 2020's holiday season. The info comes from a supposed E3 leak but was still not officially confirmed.
NeoGAF forums were home to one either major information dump on E3 2019 or an extremely elaborate prank. If the former happens to be the truth, we are looking at a release window of Q4 2020 for both Age of Empires 4 and Halo Infinite.
Braldryr, the leaker who supposedly knows that CD Projekt Red will reveal Cyberpunk 2077 release date at E3 2019 has also stated that Halo Infinite will release in late 2020. The game will be cross-gen which is not entirely surprising but Microsoft putting it to 2020's holiday season certainly points to attempts at burst revenue on launch.
Age of Empires 4 will apparently have a gameplay reveal as well as a major info dump. According to the leak, Microsoft are trying to get Relic on board for development. This wasn't exactly news but everyone already thought Relic were up for it. Still, it seems like SEGA are throwing a wrench into Microsoft and Relic's gears.
If this turns out to be true, Microsoft are definitely looking to dominate the holiday season with two major titles, spanning across two generations of consoles.
On the topic of Braldryr's validity, this person has of several tickets as proof of their credibility. There is one better indicator that the info could be true, however.
His info dump on Cyberpunk 2077 has been circulating the internet for two days at the time of writing and CD Projekt Red have still not denied the post's claims.
CD Project Red
Chances of the company being unaware of Braldryr's post are extremely low since the same topic has circulated the game's subreddit as well. The only word that actually came from CD Projekt Red (through E3's Twitter) is that Marcin Iwiński would talk about the past, present and as well as his company.
