343 Industries keep piecing together Halo: The Master Chief Collection for PC and now it's time for Halo 3 and ODST, which are set for beta testing mid-June.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection's (MCC) initial PC releases suffered from some technical issues and for a moment it looked as if Halo 2 could be the same.

That's in spite of the extensive testing and the dev's confidence after two test flights, which is 343's fancy name for beta testing, but thankfully - these were fixed.

Now, it's time for Halo 3 and ODST, whose test flights are coming pretty soon. According to a tweet from 343's community manager John Junyszek, Halo 3's beta tests on PC are expected in mid-June.

Junyszek also mentioned that they'll have more information in tomorrow's community update, when we're hoping to find out the exact dates.

As we've come to expect from Halo's test flights, the first one will feature the inner circle of Halo Insiders, and while you can sign up, we doubt you'll be chosen for the first round.

Nevertheless, if you think you're deserving of the position, you can sign up on the Halo Insider website , and hope for the best. Second rounds of testing usually feature way higher number of testers, so your chances of being picked are likely to rise exponentially.

In their pre-Halo 2 community update, the Halo: MCC team mentioned they too have been affected by the dreaded virus, which ultimately resulted in having to work from home. Some of them even posted pictures of their workstations so if you're interested to learn where Halo's PC versions are being crafted, you can find the link and some Halo screenshots here .
