Activision made many Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players happy by announcing the Gunfight Tournaments' return along with new gear tied to the activity.

Gunfight 2v2 mode proved to be fairly popular with the Call of Duty crowd and it already had the Tournament version of the activity. It has been absent for a while but now it's back.

For those who missed out previously, Gunfight Tournaments basically boil down to you and your teammate trying to win four matches in a row. If you manage that feat, you both walk away with specific rewards. In the case of this incarnation of Gunfight Tournament, it will be a blueprint assault rifle.

In case you're not sure about your skills and the ability to win four in a row, you can practice with a partner in the regular Gunfight to prepare.

That's not all the news for the week though as Infinity Ward added Bomb Plant Moshpit playlist. Its description is described as a blast, fit for players who enjoy Search & Destroy as well as Demolition so expect mechanics from both modes to be present in Bomb Plant Moshpit.

Additionally, Realism Gun Game will feature blueprint weapons while other multiplayer playlists will continue with the standard Ground War and the return of Dirty Old Houseboat.
