Rumours about GTA VI's setting and female protagonist, which first appeared in the Project Americas leak are real, according to insider and YouTuber LegacyKillaHD.
Rockstar Games are yet to officially announce Grand Theft Auto VI but it's no secret that this is indeed their next big project, scheduled to arrive in the next couple of years. And while the details from the official channels are pretty scarce, almost non-existent, there are some rumours, floating around the gaming forums and social media.
One of the first leaks, which is known as "Project Americas" leak among the community suggested that the game is set in both Vice City and a new fictional location based on Rio de Janeiro. On top of this, recent rumours suggested that GTA VI would feature a female protagonist.
Of course, these are just rumours and nothing more and you should take them with a grain of salt but it's worth mentioning that some reliable insiders have confirmed that Project Americas leak, as well as female protagonist rumours, are indeed true.
Recently, another trusted insider and YouTuber LegacyKillaHD has confirmed that both of these are real. "I can verify that someone in the know, a few years ago confirmed that & the entire Project Americas leak to me," he tweeted.
Again, since this is not official info, we suggest you take it with a grain of salt. Hopefully, though, we will get more details about Grand Theft Auto VI soon. It's safe to say that the fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting to see the next instalment in this, mega-popular series.
