A recent tweet from a credible Genshin Impact leaker revealed the a new artifact sets we will be able to obtain in Genshin Impact. The set is expected to arrive with the upcoming update 1.7/2.0.

Artifacts are one of the crucial things when it comes to character builds in the game of Genshin Impact. Choosing the right artifact set plays a huge role on a character's impact on the field.

A recent tweet from Honey Impact revealed one of the sets that will soon be obtainable in the game - Reminiscence of Shime. According to their site, the artifacts will have the following stats:

Reminiscence of Shime:

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases the ATK stat by 18 per cent
  • Four-piece bonus: When using an Elemental Skill (E) will increase Normal, Charged and Plunging Attack damage by 50 per cent for 10 seconds. This effect costs 15 Energy, which means that in order for this effect to activate you have to have at least 15 Energy or more.

This artifact set is most efficient for characters that have a low cooldown on their Elemental Skill (E). Xiao, Ganyu, Childe, Yoimiya and even Diluc can be potential candidates for using this set.

miHoYo Genshin Impact character Childe Childe is one of the strongest DPS characters in the game

This will be the first five-star artifact set that has a two-piece bonus that increases the ATK by 18 per cent, besides Gladiator's Finale. This could become the go-to set for characters that couldn't benefit from the four-piece bonus of the Gladiator's Finale which suits characters that use a sword, claymore or a polearm.

This artifact set is expected to be a part of the long-awaited Inazuma update which is apparently scheduled for update 1.7/2.0. There is no official release date for this update but according to miHoYo's usual habit of releasing a new update every six weeks, we can expect 1.7/2.0 to arrive around July 20.
