A recent Genshin Impact leak has revealed more information about the kit for one of the upcoming characters Kamisato Ayato that will arrive in update 2.6.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has finally confirmed that we are going to see a new addition to the character roster, the long-awaited Electro user Yae Miko. According to a leak on the Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit, Itto's ascension stat will be Crit Rate.
Even though Yae Miko is not even released yet, the official Genshin Impact Twitter account has already announced the arrival of another popular character, the long-awaited Kamisato Ayato. He is Ayaka's brother and the head of the Kamisato clan
Recent leaks on Reddit have revealed more information about one of the upcoming Genshin Impact characters - Ayato. He will apparently be released after Yae Miko who is scheduled to arrive in update 2.5. This means that we can expect Ayato around mid-April. All we know about Ayato is that he is Ayaka's brother and the head of the Kamisato clan.
An interesting post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has apparently revealed more information about this mysterious character:
- Ayato's Elemental skill (E) has Hydro infusion and increases his attack range and AoE
- Ayato's Elemental burst (Q) creates an area that does dmg, all members standing within that area will have ATK speed increased
Another rumor on the same subreddit apparently reveals more about Ayato's party role. According to a leak on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, Ayato will have strong DPS capabilities. He will be a traditional DPS character with a strong focus on Normal Attacks, similar to Arataki Itto.

Ayato is expected to be a Hydro character meaning that he should have great synergy with his sister Ayaka who's a Cryo user. His weapon of choice will be the sword and he will be the second Hydro sword user after Xingqiu. According to most leaks, he should arrive in update 2.6 which, according to miHoYo's usual update schedule should drop around April 10.
