A recent post on Twitter from a credible Genshin Impact leaker revealed the price of the upcoming costume for one of the fan-favourite characters - Jean.
Genshin Impact has taken the gaming industry by storm and the player base keeps growing by each day. The release of a new character is probably one of the most exciting events in the game for the majority of the community. After a number of new characters getting introduced with each patch, fans started asking a very interesting question - when will skins and costumes get introduced to the game? A couple of leaks three weeks ago revealed that we're finally going to see costumes for two characters: Jean and Barbara.
A recent post on Twitter from a credible Genshin Impact leaker called Genshin Report has apparently revealed the price for Jean's costume. According to the leak, the skin will be a permanent addition purchasable with Genesis Crystals in the Gift Shop. The price will be around $20, but luckily there will be a significant discount during the 1.6 update.
While some fans don't seem to be too happy about the price, most of them claim that they've expected this amount considering that miHoYo charges $10 for a simple name card.
Both of the skins will have a summer theme with a specific story behind them. Even though the Monstadt duo seems to be the only characters tied with a new skin, there could be new cosmetics throughout the summer, especially during the Honkai 3rd - Genshin crossover which should arrive in mid-July.
The official release date of update 1.6 hasn't been confirmed yet but if according to miHoYo's usual schedule of releasing new updates every six weeks, we could expect a new patch around June 8.
