A popular Genshin Impact leaker has revealed the release date for the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 2.6 Livestream. The new update will arrive around March 30.

The official Genshin Impact social media accounts have revealed the art for one of the upcoming characters - Kamisato Ayato. After many speculations, he's confirmed to be a five-star Hydro character. His art also confirms that he will be using a Sword despite multiple rumors claiming that he might be another Polearm user.

A recent rumor  on the same subreddit apparently reveals more about Ayato's party role. According to a leak on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, Ayato will have strong DPS capabilities. He will be a traditional DPS character with a strong focus on Normal Attacks, similar to Arataki Itto.

A popular Genshin Impact laker named SaveYourPrimos reveals that the livestream event for Genshin Impact update 2.6 will arrive on March 18. The livestream will give more insight into Ayato's playstyle and probably reveal his role in a team composition.

Ayato is confirmed to be on the first banner cycle which means that there will be another banner re-run for the second banner. Multiple leaks have already revealed that the second cycle will bring two popular characters - Ayaka and Venti. Ayaka's arrival does not come as a surprise since she's Ayato's sister. Many fans expect them to have a great synergy considering that they are siblings and their elements, Hydro and Cryo, can trigger a very strong elemental reaction.

The livestream will most likely reveal more information about the long-awaited region named Chasm. The livestream for update 2.5 has confirmed the arrival of this region in the foreseeable future.
