Nvidia has just launched the 30 series RTX GPUs but they haven't revealed everything as it appears that 3060 Ti and 3070 Ti release windows have been all but confirmed.
RTX 30 series' most powerful, and some of the most expensive cards, have already been presented by Jensen. RTX 3080 and 3090 have been released and quickly sold out, leaving many to wait for either restocking or other models to come out. RTX 3070 is the next in line, set to release on October 15, 2020, but the budget options and higher mid-tier ones are still missing.
For example, RTX 3060 has not been announced yet and there is no release window for it. Their existence has been confirmed, however, and Videocardz reported that RTX 3060 Ti is set to release in late October 2020 .
In theory, this should bought alleviate the demand for RTX 3070 which is likely to be sold out within minutes of being released while also providing gamers with a budget option in the 30 series. It is somewhat odd that the Ti version is coming out before the regular one but there it is.
Interestingly enough, 3060 Ti didn't appear on the leaked screenshot that showcases the performance of RTX GPUs on a scale but it does show the regular 3060 being supposedly as capable as an RTX 2080 and slightly below RTX 2080 Super.
RTX 3070 Ti, which should actually be more powerful than an RTX 2080 Ti is set to release after Big Navi from AMD, which hints that the price to performance ratio should be rather interesting since this is the card Nvidia left to compete with Team Red.
