With the award season in full swing, and most of it broadcasting live, there are bound to be some mishaps
Meme-worthy moments happen at every award show, like Ellen's selfie that broke the Internet, Steve Harvey and Faye Dunaway announcing the wrong winner at Miss World and the Oscars respectively and, now, the winner not showing up at all. No Man's Sky developer, Hello Games, won the award for innovation at this year’s Game Developers Choice Awards, but they were no where to be found.
When they were announced winners, the team was eating dinner elsewhere.
After the reception No Man's Sky received after launch though, who can blame them. Hello Games’ Sean Murray said that they did not hear from the event's organisers about their apparent win. Hey, maybe the winner is Moonlight after all.
