11 bit studios have officially announced the final DLC for their grim survival strategy Frostpunk. Named On the Edge, it is the last piece of New London's story, coming this summer.
11 bit studios mysterious project known as "Project TVADGYCGJR" is actually a third and final expansion for Frostpunk, the developer's survival city builder. Officially announced today, the DLC is named On the Edge and is on track to release this summer.
It is the last piece of New London's story, set after the vicious Great Storm as the expedition is sent from New London with a special assignment. The official press release states that On The Edge opens a brand new chapter set in the Frostpunk universe and also aims to further improve the core experience with new challenges, new unique mechanics both in the city and on the Frostland map.
"The people face new challenges that are catalysts to spark up divisions, new problems, and conflicts based on the fact that people might have different points of view, different perspectives. This is the Edge that you will face as the leader of the society that survived the great snowstorm of Frostpunk," said Maciej Sulecki, the lead designer of Frostpunk: On The Edge.
