Turn 10 Studios has released Update 17 for Forza Motorsport, bringing new content, gameplay adjustments and a list of new vehicles. 

The update refines Rivals mode, improves car sounds, and introduces several bug fixes to enhance the overall experience.The highlight of this update is the inclusion of Daily Racers, a set of events that feature souped-up versions of daily cars. 

Players can put a range of hatchbacks and sedans on the track, including a number of new models that are entering the game. Forza Motorsport is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.

New cars added to the Showroom

Four new cars are now available in the in-game Showroom:

  • 2023 Toyota Camry TRD
  • 2021 Hyundai i20 N
  • 2022 Toyota GR86
  • 2021 Hyundai #98 Elantra TCR

In addition, players can unlock the following cars through challenges:

  • 2021 Toyota Yaris GR - Earned by completing 10 races in the Daily Racer Series or through Challenge Hub events.
  • 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N - Available through Challenge Hub challenges.

Upcoming Daily Racer events

Update 17 introduces a series of limited-time events, each featuring a spotlight car:

  • Modern Hot Hatch (Feb 12 - Mar 26) - 2020 Hyundai i30 N
  • Luxury & Horsepower (Feb 19 - Mar 26) - 2022 Cadillac CT5V Blackwing
  • RWD Roadsters (Feb 26 - Mar 26) - 2022 Mazda MX-5 RF
  • Battle of Sedans (Mar 5 - Mar 26) - 2022 Hyundai Elantra N

Bonus reward: Players who complete all four Daily Racers Tour events in Career Mode before March 26 will unlock the 2021 Toyota Yaris GR.

All these vehicles are also playable in Open Class Tour mode, allowing for custom upgrades and modifications.

Other fixes and improvements in Update 17

Alongside new content, Turn 10 has made several gameplay improvements, including:

  • Improved Rival Selection - Ensures a more competitive experience by prioritizing challenging opponents.
  • Car Audio Updates - The 1998 Toyota Supra RZ and 2020 Toyota GR Supra now feature enhanced engine sounds.

Bug fixes:

  • Audio issues for the 2019 Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 and 2021 Porsche GT3 have been resolved.
  • Quick Resume fix - The game will no longer restart unexpectedly when using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X|S.
  • Rivals Mode stability - Players can now switch between Rivals events without crashes.
