"Calling all Agents! It’s time to find your Duos partner. The Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) returns on March 20, and is open to eligible Duos players who have each reached Champion League in Arena and enabled 2FA on their accounts", Epic wrote.
To top it off, Fortnite players will get a chance to test-drive their skills with a training simulation of FNCS, which starts on 13 and lasts until 15 March 2020.
Chapter 2 - Season 2 of FNCS will feature two tournament tracks, one being reserved for PC players, while the other will take care of consoles and mobile. The prizes will remain unchanged but the champions will be competing in their own groups.
Although Epic Games, Fortnite and a few other games under Epic's banner are quite proud of their crossplay capabilities, these will not be invoked in FNCS. In other words, make sure that your Duos partner is on the same platform group, i.e. either PC or console/mobile.
"During FNCS, each week’s event will send the top-scoring Duos players per server region through to the Season Finals. They will be joined by the highest-ranked Duos players on the overall Series Leaderboard across the entire season."
Epic Games seem to have more changes lined up for Fortnite's competitive future, as they announced "more" from their "evolving 2020 competitive roadmap".
If you want to learn more, you can do so from the Fortnite Champion Series: Chapter 2 Season 2 Official Rules page. The announcement of FNCS 2020 specifics is on Epic's website.
