This announcement promises a significant addition to Fortnite's collaboration history with Star Wars. The trailer hinted that the new content would not only be available in the traditional Battle Royale modes but also in LEGO Fortnite and Fortnite Festival.
With the ongoing Chapter 5 Season 2, data miners have uncovered Star Wars-themed items within the game files, indicating that they will be released in May. The official announcement of this new crossover lends credibility to these rumors and leaks.
Leaks suggest that the upcoming collaboration will feature a new mythic weapon called the Wookie Bowcaster, cosmetics for Rebel Leia Organa, Death Trooper, and Chewbacca, along with the unvaulting of Lightsabers and Force Abilities. Additionally, new LEGO Fortnite content is expected to accompany this collaboration.
The Fortnite Festival has announced that Lando Calrissian will be joining the Fortnite roster on Star Wars Day, with a teaser showing his skin featuring the character's iconic hair, mustache, and long cape. Alongside this, a new Star Wars-themed instrument was hinted at.
