As Chapter 5 Season 3 begins in Fortnite, so do its ranked mode games. However, your rank, along with other factors, will determine eligibility for Epic-hosted tournaments, including those with cosmetic prizes like FNCS Community Cups and cash prizes like the Console Cash Cup.
With the start of a new Ranked Season, everyone's rank has been reset. You can drop in anytime and play one Ranked match to get your new rank (one match per Battle Royale and Zero Build).
The 2024 FNCS Major 3 starts during Chapter 5 Season 3. So players are getting ready with their duo partners for the open qualifiers from June 14 to July 28.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Ranked Cups
In Chapter 5 Season 3’s Ranked Cups, players can participate in Solo, Duos, or Squads matches against opponents of similar rank in both Battle Royale and Zero Build modes.
For Duos and Squads, you can choose to queue as a Fill player to be matched with other Fill players.Top performers can showcase their skills with basic gear—earn a minimum of 50 points in any Ranked Cup to unlock the Ranker's Junker 'Brella!

This is an all-new tournament format where the stakes are low, but the competition stays intense! Open Cups provide enjoyable and regular opportunities to compete—jump in and sharpen your skills for Cash Cups, Victory Cups, and FNCS. However, these tournaments do not offer prizes.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Cash Cups and Victory Cash Cups
During Chapter 5 Season 3, compete for cash prizes in Battle Royale Duos Cash Cups and Zero Build Duos Cash Cups! These Cups will feature two rounds of intense Battle Royale competition.
The top 40 duo teams in Battle Royale Cash Cups and the top 25 duo teams in Zero Build Cash Cups will earn cash prizes.
Compared to last season, Victory Cash Cups will offer more formats, including Solo Battle Royale, Solo Zero Build, and Squads Battle Royale. Qualifying for Round 2 in a Victory Cash Cup guarantees a cash prize for every Victory Royale obtained during that round!
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Console Cash Cups
Console players in Chapter 5 Season 3 can team up with their Duos partner and join up to three Duos Console Cash Cups. These tournaments are exclusive to players on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Each Cup consists of two rounds—qualify for Round 2 for a chance to win cash prizes!Compete in the Fortnite PlayStation Cups from May 31 through June 15, 2024! There's a Cup for Zero Build and a Cup for Battle Royale, both featuring solo competitions.

- June 22: Zero Build PlayStation Cup Finals
Battle Royale PlayStation Cup
- June 1: Battle Royale PlayStation Cup Qualifier 1

- June 15: Battle Royale PlayStation Cup Finals
The top 50 highest-scoring players from each Qualifier Cup will advance to either the Zero Build Finals on June 14 or the Battle Royale Finals on June 15 (depending on their qualification in Battle Royale or Zero Build). Competitors in both finals will fight it out for a portion of the $250,100 prize pool.
