Black Panther and Wakanda-themed items and emotes are now available in Fortnite. The Wakandan Salute emote will be awarded to players who complete the Wakanda Forever challenge.
Fortnite's v15.10 update brought a bunch of files that hold clues about the game's upcoming events that will be taking place over the devs' holiday break.
Dataminers have gone through the added files and unearthed the Wakanda Forever Challenges. The Marvel x Fortnite collab is far from over, and now it's time for Black Panther to join the fray. The challenges needed for getting the Wakandan leader-themed goodies are available for players to complete right now.
Fortnite - Wakanda forever challenges
Completing the three challenges will award you with XP as well as the Wakandan Salute Fortnite emote:
- Play matches (10)
- Outlast Opponents (500)
- Play Duo or Squad matches (5)
The challenges shouldn't pose too much of an obstacle to the players and we expect to see everyone performing the iconic emote shortly. The "Outlast Opponents" challenge should be a breeze if you find a good hiding spot at the start of your match.
Wakanda Forever Challenges will be available to complete between December 21 and January 12.
Wakandan Salute Fortnite Emote
Completing all three challenges will yield the Wakanadan Salute Emote. The emote is of "Marvel" rarity. The challenges are currently live in the game.
Operation Snowdown new challenge
Operation Snowdown also has a new challenge for Fortnite players. The latest order is to "destroy Nutcracker Statues". Performing the task will give the players a Christmas-themed Back Bling.
The Spy Within LTM also has some trials for you to complete - and these include back bling, a glider and more.
