With all of the content that has been released in the last few months, players have had an amazing time with Fortnite Chapter 6 Super, which was the massive superhero-themed season. With Epic's recent collaboration with Warner Bros IPs, Fortnite transitioned from its superhero crossover event to a brand-new Power Rangers collaboration event with Hasbro.
The Chapter 5 Season 4's Power Rangers theme, like previous crossover events, features new skins that players can buy, a new mini LEGO battle pass, and in-game Power Rangers themed boons that can be acquired from the new O.X.R. rank system. Here's how the new O.X.R. rank system and boons work in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4.
What is O.X.R. Rank?
Every time you perform a heroic deed in each match, you’ll progress towards raising your O.X.R. Rank. All players will start each match with C rank and can rise through the ranks of B, A, S, and S+.
Each time you rank up, an O.X.R. Drop Pod packed full of loot will be sent to your location. Each drop pod you earn includes a Super Soldier Boon for good measure. At rank A, you’ll also earn access to O.X.R. Bunkers containing exotic weapons. Hit S+, and you’ll get a drop pod that’s guaranteed to contain a Mythic weapon.
Here are the Super Soldier boons exclusive to the O.X.R. drop pod:
Super Soldier Ranked Boons:
- Super Soldier Boon: Rank B - Reduces energy consumption when sprinting.
- Super Soldier Boon: Rank A - Rank B ability and increases reload speed.
- Super Soldier Boon: Rank S - Rank B and A abilities and reduces weapon recoil and spread.
- Super Soldier Boon: Rank S+ - Rank B, A, and S abilities and increases sprint speed and gives you unlimited energy.
Aside from the Super Soldier boons from the O.X.R. drop pod, you can also get three other Super Soldier boons from completing match objectives, raiding O.X.R. bunkers, and opening O.X.R. chests. Here are the other Super Soldier boons:
- Agile Aiming Boon: While aiming down sights, your recoil and spread will be reduced, and you'll maintain more of your movement speed.
- Extended Magazine Boon: Increases clip size for all your weapons.
- Storm Forecast Boon: The next storm circle is always revealed to you.
The O.X.R. Ranks, O.X.R. Drop Pods, and Super Soldier Boons will be a core part of the game's mechanics for the duration of Chapter 6 Season 4. So, make sure to get a head start in every match to rise through the ranks faster.
