Reboot a Friend is Fortnite's latest campaign that will reward players who play the game with friends who haven’t played in a while.
The campaign will enter its beta stage today, December 14. With Chapter 2 - Season 5 in full swing, it's a great time to help your friends with Quests and Bounties.
Reboot a Friend FAQ
- Who is eligible for the program?
- How long will the Reboot a Friend Early Access be available?
- The Reboot a Friend Beta is available from December 14, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. GMT through January 4, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. GMT.
- How to get the rewards?
- Players' invitees and their selected friends can unlock rewards after playing games with rebooted friends. Rewards will be added to your account within seven days. Both players will receive the same rewards after playing games together. More info in the table:

- Which friends will be available in the Reboot a Friend Beta?
- Participation will be limited to players who meet certain requirements: only friends who haven’t played Fortnite for 30 days or more can be rebooted.
- How many friends can I "reboot"?
- For the purpose of this test, the program will be limited to one "rebooted" friend.
- When will my rewards appear on my account?
- The prizes will be issued to all winners within 7 days.
- When will the program come out of beta?
- No information on the official launch date has yet been given.
