Fortnite players subscribed to PlayStation Plus will soon be getting another skin and back bling if the latest date-mine information is anything to go by. Point Patroller skin and Recon Strike back bling should go live on 14 April.
Fortnite's update files have been data-mined once again. Taking a look at two newly decrypted pak files in the update yielded news of a brand new skin and back bling.
The leaked information comes courtesy of @FortTory 's Twitter account.
The new skin
The recently leaked Skin is called Point Patroller. The new threads will be marked as Rare and the description reads "Ready to make a break for it.". The text underneath the description informs us that the upcoming skin will be introduced in Chapter 2, Season 2.
The new back bling
The latest leaked back bling has been given the name Recon Strike. This rare item's description encourages the player to "Shoot your shot" and will also be introduced in Chapter 2, Season 2.
The data-mined code implies that the new get-up will be available via the in-game Item Shop but this is subject to change. The cerulean colouring of the new items suggested that they will be exclusive to PlayStation Plus players and the following screenshot suggest the items' release date is 14 April 2020.
