Square Enix will soon release the Windows Edition of Final Fantasy XV with a fancy versions for consoles. The release will contain the base game, all DLC packs and some new features. Final Fantasy XV for PC will be available in March.
Square Enix just announced that Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will launch on 06 March 2018. The game's Royal version aimed at PlayStation 4 Xbox One players will launch on the same date. The Royal Edition is just a fancy name for a complete edition, and usually found under that name with companies that are more up-front with their customers than Squeenix.
In order to make you look at your Final Fantasy XV Standard Edition in disgust, the special editions will feature the base game and DLC packs as well as some extra features in the form of an extended map, new enemies and a first-person camera mode.
The Insomnia City Ruins map will be the one receiving an extension. It will come in the form of new side quests and enemies. You'll also be given a chance to take on the Rulers of Yore. Is your wallet out yet?
A new vehicle - the Royal Vessel boat will let you explore the area between Cape Caem and Altissia. The new vessel will also offer up the opportunity to "discover new fishes and dishes".
Armiger Unleashed is the name of a new action that'll be activated while the Armiger is summoned. Access to the action will be granted after you collect all of the royal arms and find the required accessory in an unidentified part of the world. That should keep you busy until the Final Fantasy VII Remake rolls around.
