Ubisoft announced that Immortals: Fenyx Rising will get three major DLC drops in 2021 but now it appears that Nintendo leaked the release date of the first one.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising is set to receive three major DLCs - A New God, Myths of the Eastern Realm and The Lost Gods but Ubisoft didn't reveal when they would release these content drops.
Nintendo eShop, however, appears to have leaked that A New God DLC would be released on January 21, 2020. This part will feature a story continuation from the main game as Fenyx ascends to godhood and as going up Mount Olympus with the rest of the pantheon giving the protagonist various trials to go through.
Beating these trials will result in Fenyx being able to challenge Zeus himself, according to the DLC overview from the initial announcement video.
Release date was not the only thing eShop's apparent leak revealed. There are four associated trophies:
- Better Luck Next Time (Fail the initiation ritual)
- Overblessed (Acquire all the blessings)
- Tested and Approved (Earn your promotion)
- Putting in Overtime (Complete the secret trial)
That said, this is the only bit of DLC where Fenyx is still the protagonist as Ku and Ash will be featured in the later content drops.
