Far Cry 5 is having a free weekend for PC - pre-loads start today

Far Cry 5's free weekend on Uplay PC will kick off on May 29. The preloads for the free weekend will start today, May 27. All Far Cry games will be on sale during the weekend.

Ubisoft's first-person shooter Far Cry 5 will host a free weekend on Uplay PC from May 29 at 2:00 p.m. GMT until May 31, at 5:00 p.m. GMT.

Everyone will be granted full access to the base game’s content for the duration of the free weekend and will also be able to play in co-op with any Far Cry 5 owner. If you're new to the world of Far Cry 5, you will be able to start pre-loading the game today, 27 May at 6:00 p.m. GMT on Uplay PC.

In conjunction with the time-honoured tradition of placing the game that's having a free weekend on sale, up to 75 per cent of the original price has been slashed off the top of all Far Cry games’ PC Standard and Gold Editions until June 02 on the Ubisoft Store .
