Bethesda have detailed the next Fallout 76 update in their latest blog post. According to the developer, Fallout 76 is getting food spoilage changes, easier experience for newcomers, improved item descriptions and power armour improvements.

Bethesda's online post-apocalyptic RPG Fallout 76 is set for another content update, scheduled to arrive sometime during July 2019. In the latest blog post, the developer detailed some of the most notable additions and changes that players can expect from the Patch 11.

Food and Spoilage changes will make food and drinks last much longer before their expiration dates pass once the new patch arrives. After the update, raw food items and fluxes will last 50 per cent longer before spoiling and your food and drinks will no longer lose condition after you fast travel.

To make Fallout 76 experience even easier for those who are just starting with the game, Bethesda are implementing a couple of changes to the game's mechanics and challenges.

For example, characters under level 25 will pay less for fast travelling while those under level 15 will have higher disease resistance. Also, Bethesda are replacing a number of early-game Challenge rewards with items that should give newcomers a better chance at survival.

Bethesda are also looking to reduce the difficulty for some creatures in sub-regions within the Ash Heap, the Savage Divide and Toxic Valley so that new players have fewer encounters with high-level enemies.

Patch 11 will also introduce better item descriptions. Legendary items will display all their current attributes rather than just the first one whenever you view these items. Additionally, when you select crafting recipes or mods, you'll see the description for the item they create.

Those who love to wear their Power Armours will be happy to hear that the devs have a fresh batch of bug fixes ready for implementation. After Patch 11 you'll also be able to activate Stealth Boys while wearing the armour and there's also a new Enable Power Armour HUD option which allows you to switch between new or standard Power Armour HUD.
