F1 2021 now boasts a wealth of free in-game items designed by McLaren Formula 1 driver, Daniel Ricciardo. Williams’ George Russell had a hand in designing a set of in-game items for Series 3’s 30 tiers of additional content.
Codemasters and EA just revealed the brand-new in-game items for F1 2021's My Team and online modes. The items in question were designed by McLaren Formula 1 driver, Daniel Ricciardo. The Formula 1 driver took off his helmet to replace it with a Creative Director's hat and sat for the latest episode of After the Apex to design his very own exclusive race suit, helmet and car livery. All items are now available in-game.
How to unlock Daniel Ricciardo's items in F1 2021
All F1 2021 players can unlock the items now available as part of Podium Pass Series 3, which runs from November 17 until January 12, 2022. The items are free but the players will still need to unlock them through XP by taking part in numerous game modes and challenges.
"We thoroughly enjoyed working with Daniel and watching his creativity come to life," said Paul Jeal, F1 Senior Franchise Director at Codemasters. "Our players will also be able to unlock items designed by George Russell from today, and I'm sure there will be a race to show them off online."
Williams’ George Russell has also designed a set of in-game items for Series 3’s 30 tiers of additional content.
Codemasters' game now has a couple of new features, including the new story mode "Braking Point", an expanded Career mode that now supports two players and Real-Season Start with the option to join the championship at any point in the past.
