Fortnite's collaboration with Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean has been a most awaited crossover event since its first teaser with the 2024 roadmap leak earlier this year.
The Fortnite x Pirates of the Caribbean event titled Cursed Sails was finally added to the game on July 19, 2024. The event brings a new exclusive pass, with a set quests and rewards for players to claim.

Fortnite X Pirates of the Caribbean event quests and rewards
The Pirates of the Caribbean: Cursed Sails event adds a brand new mythic, four new skins from the movies and an exclusive mini battle pass. Players must complete eight questlines in order to complete the event and earn the exclusive rewards from the new mini battle pass. Here are all the new quests in the Cursed Sails event:
A Pirate’s Life
- Plunder 1,000 Gold Bars (10 stages)
Pirate Code One
- Hit 10 headshots or eliminate 10 opponents
- Hit an opponent with a single pistol shot
- Destroy 100 structures or objects with a Ship in a Bottle
- Walk the plank
- Locate a Jar of Dirt (2 stages)
- Complete Pirate Code One Quests to earn Cursed Gold (5 Stages)
Pirate Code Two
- Deal 500 damage to players that have damaged you
- Deal 500 damage to opponents with the Flint-Knock Pistol or travel distance from its knockback
- Drink potions in 3 different matches
- Raise the flag on the Floating Island
- Speak to a character before taking damage
- Complete Pirate Code Two Quests to earn Cursed Gold (5 Stages)
Pirate Code Three
- Visit Shipwreck Shallows and eliminate an opponent in a single match
- Eliminate 3 opponents while carrying a Medallion
- Listen to Pirate Tales from 4 different Pirates
- Reboot, Revive, or Eliminate in the Underworld
- Read “Dead Men’s Tales” book
- Complete Pirate Code Three Quests to earn Cursed Gold (5 Stages)
Pirate Code Four
- Deliver 99 souls to Davey Jones
- Earn a Double Elimination
- Travel 500 distance while holding a Treasure Map
- Accept “Survive the Black Mark” from Davey Jones
- Deal damage with 3 different ranged weapons in a single match
- Complete Pirate Code Four Quests to earn Cursed Gold (5 Stages)
Pirate Code Five
- Somehow acquire a Victory Royale
- Hit a player with a Coconut
- Search 5 rare or buried treasure chests
- Pilfer 10 weapons from weapon cases
- Flee 100 distance after surviving damage from an opponent
- Hire 3 characters in different matches
- Deal 500 damage to opponents in a single match
- Complete Pirate Code Five Quests to earn Cursed Gold (5 Stages)
Pirate Code Six
- Defeat a duelling character with a pistol or melee weapon
- Defeat a Boss
- Destroy the 9 False Pieces of Eight on the island
- Collect a Victory Crown from an eliminated player
- Destroy 10 Slurp, Slap, or Nitro barrels
- Complete Pirate Code Five Quests to earn Cursed Gold (5 Stages)
Pirate Code Seven
- Deal 100 damage opponents in the Storm
- Deal 500 damage opponents or travel distance with Cannons
- Restore 200 health or gain shields using food
- Consume 3 Apples
- Outlast 200 players
- Restore 100 health or gain shields using food
- Use Ascenders or Ziplines in three different matches
- Complete Pirate Code Seven Quests to earn Cursed Gold
Pirate Code Eight
- Visit Davy Jones’ Locker
- Eliminate three boss guards or bosses
- Survive 10 storm circles
- Restore 25 health or gain shields from an Oasis Pool
- Catch three fish
- Collect ten items from chests
- Reach 25 players remaining
Each Pirates of the Caribbean: Cursed Sails quest will reward players with 5,000 XP. To complete the new mini event battle pass, players must complete all Pirate Code questlines by August 6, 2024.
