Career Mode will come with a number of new features for EA Sports FC 25, among which are scouting improvements, tactical setup, customization, and more. This update represents updates for both Manager and Player Career modes, new, and fan-requested features. Here's a look at all the updates.
In EA FC 25, management of women's teams is now possible in both Manager and Player Career Mode. This includes the Women's Super League, NWSL, D1 Arkemma, Liga F, and Frauen-Bundesliga. It features the UWCL, so you can also lead your team to European success.
The game is also introducing FC IQ, EA's tactical revamp that replaces Work Rates and Player Instructions with Player Roles and Team Tactics. That allows space for assigning players with particular roles, say a CDM that drops into defense, midfield, and even midfielders who flare on. The value of success in these roles depends on player familiarity, which is improved by hiring coaches whose tactical vision fits the bill.
Live Start Points
Live Start Points, which allows a Career Mode to be started from the present real-life season, updated every week. The features in this reflect real-world standing, results, transfers, and more. You can start from any point in the season—lead a top team or save a struggling one. Note that this feature will be added in a future update, not at launch.
Icons in Player Career
Play as legendary icons in Player Career Mode, including Andrea Pirlo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Kelly Smith, and Thierry Henry. If you have the Ultimate Edition, you can also play with legendary figures the likes of David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and Ronaldo.
Youth Academy Overhaul
Full Youth Academy System Overhauled: Scouts will now be able to find players in 160 countries by their position. As stated previously, with youth players visibly ageing this means you will be able to actively train these players with 5V5 TOURNAMENTS every 2 months.
Player Origins
Player Origins will give you customized footballers with a backstory that really sets their character up for their challenges and life. But it's not limited, say, to these four available origins, such as Clean Slate, Great Expectations, Climb to the Top, or Return to Glory; you can actually make a custom story and set your player's age, skill level, and personality type.
Social Media Changes
The Career Mode now features a Social Media section. It will feature the comments that come in on reaching your level of performance and the sports banter. More than that, real-life publications will now report on in-game news. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano will break the stories with his famous "Here We Go" notion.
Match Intros and Morale
So, match intros are back in EA FC 25, which surely liven things up with their axing from the edition prior to that. The morale system has also been tinkered with; high morale isn't always that good because then they become complacent players.
It makes the system strategic to help manage the happiness of the players. Customization Options More customizable than ever before available, in this mode you can play with all the gameplay settings to either make it realistic or go classic EA FC experience: add more challenges like transfer embargoes or strict board expectations to earn rewards based around governance style or remove managerial sackings and speed up player development the easy way.
