Ultimate Team
This game mode remains the centerpiece of online play. Players can purchase and unlock player packs in building their dream squad. As simple as it gets: players have to aim at having the best team in relation to their opponents and work their way up to the top of the ranking system.
Career Mode
For players who want more 'realistic' football, this mode makes it possible with two sub-modes where, in Player Career, the player will develop his custom player's career and, in Manager Career, handle the whole team, including all tactical decisions and challenges that come with being a football manager.
Clubs
This game mode allows you to create your Virtual Pro persona and select which position you'd like to play on the pitch. You might be playing alongside or even against your teammates in an effort to improve your rating and nurture your custom character.
Rush
This fast-paced 5v5 mode is inspired by street football and futsal-perfect to show tricks and skills. A shorter version of Volta, it's meant for swift and extreme matches.
Kick Off
A simple mode where a maximum of four players can jump into quick games, either against the CPU or each other.
Tournaments
One can play official tournaments, like the UEFA Champions League, but one is able to create their own, too, with a few set rules.
Online Seasons
Work your way to the top in ranked online matches in competitive divisions to chase titles and greater prestige.
Co-op Seasons
This is a version of Online Seasons where you can have a teammate and you play against other teams.
Online Friendlies
Casual mode to play online with friends. Results will be recorded season by season, giving you the possibility to earn the right to brag or to defend a title of champion.
Training Center
A place where the very core mechanics and skills are learned by the player.
Practice Arena
A casual/free-form mode featuring training and practice in warm-ups before the match.
Skill Games
Focuses on allowing players to master the key skills of dribbling, shooting, passing, free kicks, and defending to perfection.
These are very important in enhancing performance on the field. With new and reimagined game modes, EA Sports FC 25 promises a more complex, deeper football experience that will suit all kinds of players.
