Paul Leonard-Morgan, a Scottish BAFTA-winning composer of 2012's Dredd film, Limitless TV series and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III is joining Cyberpunk 2077 it's been officially confirmed by CD Projekt Red on the game's Twitter.
Ever since Keanu Reeves announced the release date for CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019, the upcoming RPG has been a major talking point on various gaming forums and websites.
Almost every day, we get new details about the game and today it's no different as we have another big announcement from the Polish developers. In a short message on Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter profile, CD Projekt Red announced that Paul Leonard-Morgan is joining the team to work on the game's soundtrack.
Paul Leonard-Morgan is a Scottish BAFTA-winning, EMMY nominated composer who you may know for his work on 2012's sci-fi action film Dredd and sci-fi thriller TV series Limitless. Paul also has experience in the gaming industry - he worked on the soundtrack for EA's shooter Battlefield Hardline and Relic's RTS Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III.
At the moment, the scope of Leonard-Morgan's work on Cyberpunk 2077 is unknown. It's possible that he produces a couple of tracks for the game's soundtrack but nothing has been confirmed just yet. We doubt that he'll join CD Projekt Red and Refused to work on Samurai EP but that's also a possibility.
Cyberpunk 2077's soundtrack is currently being composed by The Witcher series composer Marcin Przybyłowicz and Gwent and Thronebreaker composer Piotr Adamczyk. From Velen swamps combat music known as Steel for Humans to relaxing The Fields of Ard Skellig, we still remember The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's amazing music and hopefully, the trio pull off something similar in Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 is hitting the shelves on 16 April 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
