Bandai Namco Entertainment and Arc System Works have released a schedule for Dragon Ball FighterZ beta on Nintendo Switch, which will run from 10 August through 12 August 2018. Players can already start pre-loading for a quicker launch.
Those who want to know exactly when they will get to play Dragon Ball FighterZ on the go, the beta will start at 05:00 AM BST on 10 August 2018 and will conclude at 08:00 AM BST on 12 August 2018.
It will include four different game modes - Practice Battle Tutorial in case some players haven't tried the game yet on other platforms, Arena Match, Ring Match and Ring Party Match for maximum multiplayer potential.
Players will get to choose between 23 fighters, with the roster being the same as in vanilla Dragon Ball FighterZ. It includes Super Saiyan versions of Goku and Vegeta, adult teenager Gohan, Freeza, Ginyu, Piccolo, Trunks, Cell, Androids 16 and 18, Gotenks, Krillin, Kid Buu, Majin Buu, Nappa, Yamcha, Hit, Tien, Beerus, Goku Black, and SSGSS versions of Goku and Vegeta.
While DLC characters will most likely be available as soon as Dragon Ball FighterZ releases on Nintendo Switch, none of them are making an appearance in the beta. On the other hand, the roster is rather large without them as well, so chances are low that someone might get bored with 23 fighters over the period of two days.
On top of that, this will be an open beta so finding players to fight will shouldn't be hard, but there is currently no word on the Switch exclusive 6v6 party match making an appearance before full release.
