Double Dragon Gaiden release date announced

Double Dragon Gaiden is trying to ride some of the nostalgia while applying a few new tricks and it is coming during the summer of 2023.

Double Dragon Gaiden is going to be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on July 27, 2023.

The classic beat 'em up series is going to feature tag team brawls this time around with Billy and Jimmy at the centre but a whole lot of other characters who can pop in, including Marian, who is usually too busy getting snatched.

Published by Modus Games , the game features added some roguelite elements such as a dynamic level structure and the difficulty level changes based on the missions selected, courtesy of the devs at Secret Base .

Teamfight Tactics update 13.11 brings more balance and a For Fun patch

Players will initially have Billy, Jimm, Marian and Uncle Matin to choose from but the roster will be enriched by nine other characters that get unlocked during the playthrough.

Just like before, the game will feature local co-op so if you want to kick back in a couch and enjoy and adventure with a friend, Double Dragon Gaiden will allow you to do so.
