Dirt 5 is getting new content tomorrow - May 11, 2021. The fresh content update is introducing cross-platform matchmaking, some new liveries and Playground options among other things.

Codemasters have today revealed the brand new free content update for their racer Dirt 5. The update is named Red Bull Revolution and it's set to launch tomorrow - May 11, 2021 - on all platforms. 

The update is headlined by the introduction of cross-platform matchmaking for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players. Support for Google Stadia is also planned but no concrete dates have been revealed by the developer in the announcement, We only know that it's set to arrive later this year to Stadia. 

With the addition of cross-platform matchmaking, it's safe to expect a big boost in online activity and busier lobbies, now that PC, PlayStation and Xbox players can play together.  

Additionally, Codemasters also have a selection of official Red Bull liveries for multiple cars are on the way, along with the iconic Red Bull arch for use in Playgrounds mode. More weather options for the arena creator mode, ghost lap times, and other content is also packed into this update. Here is the breakdown:

Dirt 5 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia. For more details about the latest content drop, check out the official announcement post on the Dirt website .
