Destiny 2 has now been officialy totally completely confirmed via Twitter. The rumour mill can rest, fire up the SPECULATRON 9000! It's coming to PC, but will it just be a lazy port or designed proper for the "master" platform remains open.
Rumours have been swirling around regarding a full blown sequel to Bungie's console FPS hit Destiny for the better part of a year now. Solid indicators that the game would release in Fall 2017 were . The official confirmation comes through the legitest of channels, Twitter.
The word on the street places the release date sometime in September and since leaks are the new preferred method by which publishers and studios let us know what they are up to, this can be considered at least vaguely accurate.
If the rumour mills ever stop we would all probably die of information deprivation. The cherry on top of this particular pile of gossip is a mythical PC version.
Telxvi remembers seeing Destiny in some airtight booth sometime somewhere, and he was thoroughly unimpressed by the then ultra-hyped title; so much in fact that he can't even recall what event the booth was at - despite and assuring him its the best thing since auto-saves (every chance they get).

Every time I see a console FPS being ported to PC I lament it not being , and can't help but wonder how the developers tried to bridge the difference between shooters on the two platforms, since they might as well be entirely different game genres. Usually, the results are not so stellar.
