Fortnite Season 2 Chapter 2 has launched today after several delays. The update is now live on all platforms and it brings a fresh batch of content as well as a brand new battle pass with fresh items to unlock. One of the biggest surprises in the new battle pass is the introduction of Marvel's antihero Deadpool.
As you can see at the very end of the Fortnite Season 2 battle pass below, Deadpool appears as the biggest highlight of the new battle pass, in his iconic red and black outfit, along with a bunch of other cosmetic items.
The in-game message for Deadpool states that "if you want to see Deadpool again, deliver 950 unmarked V-Bucks to the Battle Pass" which basically means, buy the battle pass if you want to show off as Deadpool on Fornite's island.
As you may know, this is not the first time that Epic Games are introducing Marvel's character to their popular battle royale title. Previously, Fortnite hosted several limited-time events which brought Avengers to the battle royale island in one of the biggest crossover events so far.
Still, Deadpool's cameo in the new battle pass comes as a surprise since we did not get any teases, hints or even leaks that would suggest his appearance.
