Cyberpunk 2077 was shown at PAX Australia today and the gameplay featured a new ability named Demon Software. The ability allows players to hack an enemy and make them attack itself.

CD Projekt Red's upcoming shooter RPG Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the, if not the most anticipated game in the last few years. After the reveal at E3 2019, which featured the breathtaking Keanu Reeves, CD Projekt Red have shared a ton of new details about their game and we also got brand new gameplay footage. Of course, this is just a drop in the ocean for a game of such scale and that's why we are getting more and more details about Cyberpunk 2077 as we get closer to the release date.

The latest showcase comes from PAX Australia, where the local publisher Bandai Namco hosted another gameplay demo for the attendees. As expected, the footage is seemingly the same that E3 2019 and Gamescom 2019 press and content creators got to see but there are some new interesting details, spotted by Gamespot.

One of these details is an ability named Demon Software. It allows players to hack augmentations on an enemy's body and make them attack itself. In the demo, the player character, V, is using this ability to target an enemy's arm, and then that arm attacked the rest of the enemy's body. This sounds pretty evil and wicked but also cool at the same time. It's a nice ability for those who, technically, don't like to get their hands dirty.

The second ability that was featured in the video is Nano Wire. This item was already revealed in earlier gameplay footage and CD Projekt Red also explained in one of their interviews. It's a weapon and a gadget at the same time and it allows players to connect and hack other characters in Night City, as well as kill and slice enemies into tiny pieces.

All in all, it's safe to say that Cyberpunk 2077 certainly won't lack interesting items and ways to get rid of the enemies. Just how much freedom will players have in CD Projekt Red's shooter RPG, we will find out in April 2020 when Cyberpunk 2077 launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
