Pearl Abyss have revealed a ton of new info about their upcoming MMORPG Crimson Desert. The new info reveals details about the story, character development, enemies, the open world and more.
Crimson Desert is an upcoming MMORPG from Pearl Abyss, the creators of another gorgeous MMO - Black Desert. It's a next-gen title that will arrive sometime in 2020, trough beta test. The devs claim that Crimson Desert is their next flagship title that continues on with the "desert" theme. Today, they have decided to share some brand new details about the game's features.
The new info sheds more light on the world, story, characters and setting of Crimson Desert. According to the official press release, Crimson Desert will come with "an immersive single-player campaign" that features "engaging quests" based on the exploits of many mercenaries you'll find for hire. For those who prefer a more traditional MMORPG content, there will be a lot of that in Crimson Desert.
The game will feature Pearl Abyss' unique action-driven combat system with several improvements. The devs also promise a diverse range of creatures, locations and mercenary groups. Here is the press release in full:
