Crash Team Racing remaster's announcement at the Game Awards 2018 is anything but official now as the official Facebook page teased it several times over. The announcement date may seem odd, so don't get confused if it sounds one day early.

Crash Bandicoot PS4's Facebook page has been increasingly active in the past few months, after the release of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy. The remaster proved to be a major success and unlike the original Crash titles, this one wasn't a PlayStation exclusive, at least not entirely. It released on PC, Xbox One and Switch one year later as it was a timed exclusive.

Anyway, to the topic at hand, Crash Team Racing remaster was first teased on 27 September 2018 in a type of a poll on the official Facebook page asking fans whether they would like to see Crash Team Racing or Crash Bash next.

Another post popped up on 02 December 2018, teasing the 06 December 2018 date as a big one, and finally posting the racing flag seen in Crash Team Racing on 03 December 2018.

It remains to be seen whether Crash Team Racing will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 and when we could possibly expect the other versions of the game. There are even PC users that loved the original PlayStation and its games, so shooting other players' karts is something almost everyone will look forward to.

The announcement will happen on Thursday, 06 December 2018, during The Game Awards. Google might confuse you since it simply states Game Awards will happen on 07 December 2018, but going to the official website will correct that statement, as the show starts on Thursday. You can see all the airing times, per timezone, there too.

The only things left unsaid now are the ones we mentioned earlier - the actual release date and how long it will be before platforms other than PlayStation 4 get the game too. Our nostalgia sense is tingling already.
