Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 is now available on PC, Mac and Linux. The PlayStation 4 version is "coming soon". The new game offers more than 180 foods, sides, drinks and desserts.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 is a sequel to a restaurant management sim of the same name (without the number of course). The game starts with you, the manager, going to work at Cook, Serve, Delicious!, a platinum star restaurant you helped build. The hero's journey begins as you find out that corporate greed doesn't respect the boundaries between the real world and the world of your game.
Your restaurant and the entire building it's in has been put up for federal auction. As one does, you scrape together all of your personal savings and buy commercial space inside the Teragon Supertower. The largest skyscraper in the city will be the place you restore the name Cook, Serve, Delicious! to its former glory.
Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 offers north of 60 hours of gameplay. That should be plenty of time to achieve your goals. A new campaign mode in the game is called "Chef for Hire" and its title says it all. You take up jobs in other restaurants in order to gain more experience. "This massive new mode spans 350+ levels across 30 restaurants" says the press release.
Management mode is making a return and it will let you construct a menu. The mode includes decorating your new place with a bunch of unlockable items. According to the press release, Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 has "over 180 foods, sides, drinks and desserts to choose from, a staggering increase from the 30 foods in the original game".
Another new addition to the game is the local co-op mode. It even has a split screen and you can play through the entire game with two players, with the ability for players to drop in and out during your progress within the game. Lastly, Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2 boasts all new 1080p native/60fps code.
