Borderlands 3 is gearing up to welcome back the Co-op Loot Drop event. The event will scale up all loot dropped from every Badass in the game, as well as its add-on content.

"Those who slay together get paid together."

Borderlands 3's Co-op Loot Drop event is back in force and this time around the festivities will go on from December 17 at 5:00 p.m. GMT until January 21 at 4:59 p.m. GMT.

The Co-op Loot Drop event will ensure you get even more loot when you manage to slay a Badass enemy. Additional loot awaits anyone who plays co-op in online multiplayer or local split-screen.

Plus, the more people you play with, the more loot drops, so this seems like a good time to boot up the new 4-player split-screen for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The loot drop event will affect all Badass enemies game-wide, including any you encounter in paid add-on content:

  • Moxxi's Heist of The Handsome Jackpot
  • Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock
  • Bounty of Blood
  • Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck
  • Arms Race from Designer's Cut (at a slightly lower bonus rate for balance purposes)

The upcoming mini-event will serve as a great opportunity to gear up - whether you are a seasoned Vault-hunting professional or a fresh-faced idealist who just arrived in the world of Borderlands.

The veterans can also take advantage of the boosted co-op rewards in challenging endgame content like Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite and Takedown at the Guardian Breach.
