Borderlands 3's Valentine's Day event - Broken Hearts Day is now live. Maurice is counting on the players' help to wreck as many cardiac muscles as possible, in exchange for some new gear.
Broken Hearts Day event is now live in Borderlands 3 thanks to a hotfix that brought an end to the Gear Rush mini-event in Arms Race. The new Valentine's Day-inspired event will go on until February 25 at 4:59 p.m. GMT.
Helping Maurice the Sentient Saurian will yield new coloured cosmetics and max level Broken Hearts Day weapons.
Gear adjustments introduced with the latest patch
The following weapons now have increased damage:
- Hail
- Bouncing Pair Grenade Mod
- Kaoson
Crit
- Lowered the chance that the weapon would drop on reload.
Garcia
- Updated weapon to fire correctly in multiplayer. Players will notice that the weapon will now only fire two shots before reloading in both solo and co-op.
- Increased weapon damage
Impaler
- Increased damage dealt
Void Rift
- Increased Spike damage
- Increased Black Hole singularity damage
Black Hole
- Increased damage dealt
Borderlands 3's Director's Cut will be the second half of Season Pass 2 alongside Designer’s Cut. The new batch of add-on content will introduce a new endgame boss that drops some legendary loot. players will also be able to join Ava on her murder mystery story missions and change the course of the game's story.
