InXile's time-bending steampunk RPG Clockwork Revolution just stole the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 with an incredible five-minute trailer that gave us a proper look at combat, characters, gameplay mechanics, character creation and dialogue choices.
In what seemed like just a regular trailer at first, InXile confidently revealed their big RPG, which was missing sincethe Xbox Games Showcase 2023 when we got that reveal trailer. Sadly, the trailer ended in the same manner as the one from 2023.
Instead of a release date, InXile once again stated that Clockwork Revolutuion is coming "In Due Time" which is a major disappointment to many gamers and yours truly who want to play this one so badly.
Don't get me wrong, It's for the best when the developers take their time to cook and deliver an optimised product that all of us can enjoy but when the game looks as good as Clockwork Revolution, the waiting can be a bummer.
Anyway, the trailer is pretty robust and I suggest you really take a look at it to get a clearer picture of what Clockwork Revolution actually is. InXile promise a full fledged RPG where choices matter in a big way, allowing you to completely change the game's regions and more.
On top of this, there's weapon customisation, various skills and abilities that you can use in combat, which should make playing this one a lot of fun.
Clockwork Revolution is coming to PC and Xbox Series X|S. The PlayStation 5 version is yet to be announced, suggesting it could arrive after the launch of the PC and Xbox version.
