Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 5 will introduce a thrilling multiplayer game mode known as "Havoc." This new mode adds excitement to the game by heavily drawing inspiration from classic arena-shooters.
Unlike other multiplayer modes in Modern Warfare 2, players won't have access to perks, field upgrades, or killstreaks.
Instead, the mode introduces crazy modifiers that activate during the match, causing chaotic and unpredictable gameplay. So far, players are satisfied with this new Modern Warfare 2 that Activision introduced in the Season 5.
'Havoc' mode - How does it work?
At the start of each Havoc match, players will begin with one active modifier. As teams reach certain kill milestones (12, 24, 36, 48, 60), additional modifiers will be activated, creating a stacking effect throughout the match.
This ensures a dynamic and fun-filled experience. Activision has revealed five out of the 14 different modifiers available in Havoc mode:
- Ammo Feeder: Automatically reloads a weapon with stock ammo upon getting an elimination.
- Boots Off the Ground: Introduces moon gravity, affecting player jump heights but not thrown equipment or ballistics.
- Flameshot: Transforms all loadouts into flame-tipped crossbows and molotovs only upon activation.
- Hero Landing: Landing from a significant height causes a frag-grenade-like explosion around the player.
- Perspective Shift: Shifts everyone to a third-person camera view.
As the match progresses and the modifiers stack, players might find themselves in exhilarating scenarios like a third-person, moon gravity, hero-landing-enabled, auto-reloading flame-tipped crossbow and molotovs-only deathmatch once a team reaches 60 kills.
The Havoc mode promises intense and unpredictable gameplay, making it an exciting addition to Modern Warfare 2's Season 5 content lineup. Players can look forward to experiencing a unique and chaotic battlefield like never before.
