Warzone 2 is reportedly getting brand new map in 2024 from Treyarch, to accompany their newest Call of Duty game. Treyarch will be leading the map design alongside supporting studios.
We may have the first details about Call of Duty Warzone's next map thanks to a new leak from one of the Call of Duty community's most trusted leakers. According to Ghost's tweet : "Treyarch will be leading map design for a new Warzone 2.0 map set to release alongside their premium release in 2024. Support studios will help with the asset creation/placement."
Meanwhile, Call of Duty 2023 and Call of Duty 2024 are both said to be in the works, even before Modern Warfare 2 is released.
In any case, with a reaching rumour such as this one, we advise you to do the usual and just take this information with reserve as we await the official launch of Warzone 2 and new features such as the new DMZ mode.
This is potentially nearly two years down the line, it’s safe to assume that a lot could change between now and then, and even if Treyarch are developing a new map, there’s no saying it’ll be for Warzone 2.
Now, fans of Warzone will be intrigued by the rumour from leaker TheGhostOfHope who has reported that Treyarch will be hardworking to develop a new Warzone 2 map.
Despite the leaker’s track record, there’s no guarantee that this information is accurate and it will remain unconfirmed until Activision or Treyarch break their silence. With MW2 still not released, don’t hold your breath for any news soon.
