Call of Duty players could be in for a pleasant surprise heading into the official launch of Black Ops 7. Dealabs insider billbil-kun just dropped a new price leak suggesting that Activision’s upcoming shooter might launch at a lower starting price than fans might think.
Dealabs’ Standard Edition price is listed as lower to recent entries, setting players up for a potential price drop discussion. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is already one of the most anticipated shooters of 2025 with Treyarch and Raven Software taking development reigns.
In addition to its competitive multiplayer and Zombies mode, CoD: BO7 will feature a campaign set 2035 set in the popular Black Ops universe that has been going strong for over a decade.
A lower launch price would help make the game more accessible for those not interested in splurging on any of the premium bundles. Price leaks don’t end at the Standard Edition though as reports have also set a November release date that has been supported by multiple industry insiders.
Black Ops 7 Pricing and Editions
The Standard Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is expected to cost $69.99 (79.99 EUR), while the Vault Edition is anticipated to be priced at $99.99 (109.99 EUR). The standard edition's price is surprisingly lower than Call of Duty's previous releases, making the game more accessible to both casual and hardcore gamers.
The Vault Edition, on the other hand, is rumored to include additional downloadable content (DLC) similar to the previous premium bundles. Details on what these extras will be are currently unknown, but past editions have included exclusive operator skins, weapon blueprints, and bonus items for multiplayer and Zombies modes.
Release Date and Platforms
Insiders also speculate that Black Ops 7 will be released on November 14, 2025, aligning with Activision's typical holiday release schedule. Rumours had previously hinted at a potential Nintendo Switch 2 launch, but these claims have since been refuted.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, upon its release.
