Bungie's latest job listing seems to have a few indicators on what their next game will be like. It is somewhat similar to Destiny series due to focus on loot but it appears to be a fantasy RPG.

Incubation Investment Designer is the vacant spot on Bungie's team that is working on the studio's next game. The title doesn't mean much on its own but the job listing description has a few indicators on what we could expect from the game.

There are several references to a fantasy RPG setting such as looking for someone to be "the glue between the sword and the reward" and build "a system to cleverly distribute those items in a necromancer's dungeon". In other words, they are looking for someone to work on the loot systems and those descriptions hint at a setting that is nothing like that of Destiny.

On the other hand, these words could have been placed to throw people off so take them with a grain of salt. Let's just hope whoever they get for the job has more mercy on the players and doesn't sunset the weapons they just bought ornaments for.

As for the game itself, the only clues revealed thus far are the word Matter which was trademarked shortly after Bungie announced their partnership with NetEase, which invested $100 million in the studio.

This leaves Destiny fans in an odd spot. While they might be looking forward to a new game from Bungie, we are sure they would be happier if they just got Destiny 3 instead.
