Today's Borderlands 3 hotfix will move the Loot the Universe mini-event to Nekrotafeyo. The hotfix will also bring changes to some weapons and dedicated loot pools.
Borderlands 3 will receive a fresh hotfix today. The update will be live on all platforms by 7:00 p.m. GMT. This week's hotfix will bring the start of Loot the Universe mini-event to Nekrotafeyo and address some community concerns.
The Loot the Universe mini-event will be taking place on Nekrotafeyo this week and you can shoot and loot but be prepared to scoot on May 21 at 4:00 p.m. GMT.
The new hotfix will correct the instances when players would not get cash, Eridium, or XP after death in Mayhem. Storm and Firestorm Legendary weapons will now always spawn their elemental orbs when fired.
Hardware with the non-character-specific elemental critical hit Anointment will no longer present the incorrect "Anointed Gunner" line. As for Thunk and Sloth’s item pools, they will be enriched with the Mongol that will pack extra damage.
The dedicated loot pools for Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite ’s boss and mini-boss, Wotan and the Valkyrie Squad will be modified. Additionally, you will have a bigger chance to score more than one Legendary drop from the dedicated loot pools of the boss and mini-boss in Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite.
As a result of the decrease of Wotan's dedicated loot pool, the Valkyrie Squad will drop the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite Shields exclusively from their dedicated loot pool. In turn, Wotan will exclusively drop the Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite Weapons from its dedicated loot pool.
This change will have no effect on the world drops from these enemies.
